Oasis Texas Brewing Co., located on Lake Travis in Austin, TX, is looking for an experienced shift brewer. This is a great opportunity to join an efficient, cohesive team at a brewery with both a high-volume tasting room and rapidly growing production operations. A flexible schedule is required.
Duties Include:
Brewhouse Operations:
Wort production
Brewhouse CIP
Collaborative recipe development
Assist packaging department
Cellar Operations:
Operating a centrifuge, pasteurizer, and blending skid.
CIP/SIP of tanks and cellar equipment.
Transfers and carbonation
Quality Management:
Harvesting/Pitching yeast
Monitoring yeast health
Daily cellar checks
Desired Experience:
Experience working in a brewery producing at least 5,000bbls+ annually.
Formal brewing education
Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to drive a forklift
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 55# repeatedly
Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
