Kinn Brewery is hiring!
The brewery was founded in 2009 by the passionate and renowned homebrewer Espen Lothe and wife Ann-Magritt and is still family-owned and independent. The brewery is still growing and has become one of the most well-known craft beer brands in Norway. Kinn is primarily focusing on Belgian and British beer styles and is one of the few breweries in the region that utilizes open fermenters and bottle conditioning.
The company is today operating from two locations, our brewpub “Vesle Kinn” which also houses our barrel-aging program: and our production facility located on the outskirts of town. We are brewing on an automated 40hl brewhouse and have a state-of-the-art packaging facility complete with automatic de-palletizer and case palletizer.
The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial brewery operations, including wort production, cellaring, and packaging. Education or relevant certifications will be preferred as well as mechanical/technical background or experience.
You will work with a small tight-knit team of brewers with diverse backgrounds but a common passion for beer production. We are currently rotating roles weekly between brewing, cellaring, and packaging so you must be comfortable working with and taking part in all aspects of production from grain to glass.
This position may also be asked to represent the brewery at various events such as beer festivals from time to time.
