  • Brewing & Fermentation Instructor

    Chattahoochee Tech is launching a Brewing and Fermentation Production Technology program at its North Metro Campus in Acworth, GA. Our FT Instructor will teach brewing in a 3BBL brewery lab that will also have several 1/2-barrel systems, a semi-automated canning machine, and lab equipment for quality control analysis and microbiology.

    Our Brewing and Fermentation Production Technology program will offer four BFPT programs:
    • An Associate Degree
    • a Diploma
    • a Craft Brewery Lab Technician Technical Certificate of Credit, and
    • a Brewing Basics Technical Certificate of Credit.

    Our Instructor will teach fundamentals about brewing, distillation and fermentation with specific courses that will include production, operations, safety and sanitation, brewery software, and associated process technologies. Related coursework will be offered in applied craft beverage microbiology, packaging, filtration, and brewing and packaging maintenance.

    These programs will prepare graduates for employment in a variety of positions in today's brewing and fermentation industry,

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five years in a leadership role in brewery operations OR An Associate Degree in Brewing/Fermentation and three years in a leadership role in brewery operations
