Black Hog Brewing is looking for an experienced Head Brewer.
Passion for the art and science of brewing the highest quality beer possible as well as help to develop and maintain a great company culture.
Everyone at Black Hog works together to keep all aspects of our 6000bbl/year brewery running smoothly out of our 15bbl Premier Stainless brewhouse, (7) 30bbl and (3) 60bbl fermenters brewing singles and doubles 4-5 days a week.

Main responsibilities are:

-Brewing and Scheduling all beers needed to fulfill the future packaging needs from Tyler.
-Inventorying and ordering all raw materials to produce the beer.
-Yeast management of the multiple yeast strains in use at all time
-Scheduling Packaging days to make the Production Plan and Sales Plan seamless.
-Scheduling and performing Preventive maintenance of all brewing equipment to keep them running at their peak performance.
-Coordination with our farmers for spent grain bins to be dropped off and picked up.
-Drink a beer with us all at the end of the day!

The ideal candidate will have:
-Dedicated Team player
-Passion for Beer and fermentation
-Formal Brewing education or equivalent brewing experience over a min of 3 years in the brewing industry
-Expertise in the following computer programs a big plus: Excel, FileMaker Pro, GPA Analytics
