Position: Associate Brewer at Raleigh Brewing

Raleigh Brewing’s mission is to embrace the City of Oaks (Raleigh) with every beer brewed. From the murals of the capital city on the taproom walls, to the names of our beers and our involvement with local community organizations and nonprofits, we thrive for this city. Raleigh Brewing is currently operating on a 20bbl and 3bbl brew house, with a taproom pouring 32 taps 7 days a week. RBC is in over 200 accounts in the Triangle area of NC and Wilmington.

Location: Raleigh Brewing – 3709 Neil Street Raleigh, NC 27607

Job Type: Full-time, in person, 40 hours per week, no weekend work

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years brewing or selling experience
• Commercial brewery experience
• High school/GED or higher
• Safety-conscious
• Ability to meet physical demands of role
• Speaks English
• Has US work authorization

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cellar work
• Brewery maintenance and cleaning
• Centrifuge operation
• Dry-hopping
• Yeast pitching
• Fruit additions
• Beer transfers
• Fermenter and brite tank CIP
• Small amount of production brewing
• Special projects
• Problem solving
• Multitasking
• Attention to detail specifically relating to quality standards

Physical Demands:

• Regularly walk, stand, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Lift or be able to move 50+ pounds
• Good vision and hearing
• Ability to work in seasonal environment – hot in the summer and cold in the winter
