    Job Description:

    Omnium Brewing is a new brewpub opening in Somersworth, NH. In Latin, Omnium means “of all,” and we take that to heart. We welcome everyone here and will have food and drinks that shouldn’t leave anyone feeling left out. We are passionate about crafting the highest quality and exciting ales and lagers and pairing them with delicious in-house foods. We enjoy working with various ingredients, processes, and aging techniques and are looking for an individual who shares these ideals. Our beer portfolio will range from Pilsners to slushy beers and everything in between. The brewhouse is 7bbls, and we currently have 150bbls of cellar space with 5 unis and 5 bbts. There is a tremendous growth opportunity with Omnium because we have our second location opening this summer.



    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Two years of professional brewing experience

    • A formal brewing education is a plus but is not a complete substitute for professional brewing experience (can count towards one year)

    • Must be able to work SAFELY and effectively by yourself and as part of a team

    • Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers

    • Advanced understanding of the brewing process/process flow

    • Excellent sanitation skills are a must

    • Must be able to follow directions and SOPs

    • A history of working with mixed cultures, bacteria, and barrels is a plus

    • Must be willing to work flexible/long hours on concrete floors

    • Demonstrated ability and passion for creating new recipes and working with different ingredients (yes, the Brewer will write some recipes in addition to the Head Brewer!)

    • Must be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly and 170 pounds occasionally

    • Experience with DO/CO2 meters is a plus

    • Most importantly: you must have fun, enjoy the brewing industry, and do whatever it takes to make consistent/quality beer The Brewer will work in all areas of wort production, cellaring, packaging, and barrel aging.



    Additional areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

    • Must maintain a SAFE, clean, fun, and organized brewery

    • Assist in assembling orders

    • Assist in shipping/receiving

    • Assist in maintaining meticulous records for brewing, cellaring, packaging, shipping, receiving, etc.

    • Assist in preventative maintenance

    • Forklift operation

    • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and the occasional weekend depending upon production demands

    • Represent the brewery at some festivals and events
