Leland Brewing Co has been in the works since 2019 and now nearly ready to open. Now we are in need for staff to come and join us in this wild ride and hit the ground running.
Basic Responsibilities:
Operating brewhouse equipment for safe and efficient wort production
Yeast management, harvesting and pitching
Monitoring and attending to fermentations
Tank transfers via centrifuge
Performing cleaning and sanitizing-in-place on all necessary equipment
Sanitary additions to fermenters
Thorough completion of brewery records using Ollie
Basic utilities operation ( glycol chiller, water, compressed air, electrical)
Equipment maintenance and condition-monitoring
Assist with packaging
Displaying a high level of awareness at all times regarding:
Quality, Sanitation and cleanliness, Safety
Tramsparent Communication directly with Brewmaster on all assigned tasks.
Attendance at festivals, beer tastings, and other promotional or special events, as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2 years experience in production brewing
Ability to safely handle heavy items (hop boxes, malt bags, kegs)
Ability to safely utilize forklift as needed (training provided, if needed)
Ability to stand, walk and work for extended periods
Ability to communicate effectively within a team setting
Ability to work unsupervised as needed
