Three Creeks Brewing Company in beautiful Sisters, Oregon has an immediate opening for a Cellarperson position at our production brewery on the north side of Sisters. Previous experience in the beer, wine or cider production industry is required. Position is for full-time employment. Shifts are mainly 7am-4pm Monday-Friday with a Saturday or Sunday on occasion. Position should average approximately 40 hours per week over the course of the year, typically with more hours in the busy summer season and fewer hours in the winter.
We are looking for a motivated, dependable and hard working individual to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting stable work in the Brewing Industry and the opportunity to build their skills.
Qualified applicants must have:
-Passion for the art and science of brewing - must love beer!
-Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
-Positive attitude and team player
-Strong attention to detail
-Willingness, ability and the patience to learn new skills and take directions
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to lift 55 pounds and maneuver kegs, malt or hops with the help of a dolly or pallet jack
-Ability to be on your feet most of the day
-Ability to work safely with chemicals, always using the proper PPE
-Clean driving record and valid drivers license
-Forklift certification is a plus, but not required
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Previous cellar experience in the beer, wine or cider production industry is required
Primary Job duties to include, but not limited to:
-General Cellar duties such as cleaning and prepping tanks, beer transfers, running CIP processes
-Canning and kegging
-Cleaning & sanitizing kegs using an IDD Squire 2 Keg Washer
-Staging/prepping orders for distribution
-Transferring materials between pub brewery and production brewery (both in Sisters)
-Assisting brewers and other workers with additional tasks when needed
-Promotional events
-General cleaning and maintenance
Compensation:
Pay for this position is $17.00-$19.00/hr. depending on experience.
Healthcare Insurance is available after 90 days of employment. Employer pays 50% of monthly premiums.
Vacation/PTO pay available to long term, full-time employees.
