With 100,000 barrels of experience, several gold medals, extensive QC and professional machine operators, we take pride in helping your brewery, winery, or cidery expand into professionally packaged products.

    Craft Canning is looking to hire an Area Manager for our Seattle, WA location to manage the day to day operations of the canning process. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of your territory. This includes ensuring outstanding customer experience, employee satisfaction, and safety. Additionally, this position is responsible for meeting assigned financial goals and reports directly to SVP of Operations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    General
    • Administration including budgeting, invoicing & time cards
    • Maintain a work environment that is organized, efficient, safe and legal.
    • Provide accurate inventory numbers on the first of each month.
    • Assure compliance with DOT and L&I regulations.
    • Meet production, efficiency, and financial targets

    Machines
    • Have a working knowledge of canning and bottling lines.
    • Ensure machines and kits are clean and maintained in Craft QA/QC specification.
    • Schedule regular cleaning/maintenance of equipment.

    Clients
    • Actively reach out to potential new clients and refer to sales department.
    • Be the point person for client questions and feedback.
    • Schedule and perform new client site visits.
    • Manage day to day client interactions.
    • Foster long-term working relationships with clients.
    • Weekly review of Google Invoicing Overview to ensure invoicing accuracy - make corrections and add notes as needed.

    Supervisory:
    • Directly supervises Operators, Warehouse and Maintenance staff for your area.
    • Indirectly supervises Customer Service staff.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Skills:
    • Knowledge of safety and process SOPs
    • Working knowledge of all machines
    • Office 365 proficiency

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

    • Two to four years bottling line experience or equivalent
