The Malt Man is an established mobile canning company servicing Long Island, New York City and the surrounding areas. As we continue to expand our canning business we need to add a few new dedicated team members to our experienced crew.
We are looking for a new operator for one of our mobile canning lines. Based in NYC and Long Island but also looking for qualified candidates upstate NY as well. Full and part time position available. Excellent pay with paid time off for full-time employees.
Skills Required
- Mechanical skills are a must!
- brewing skills a huge plus
- problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly
- ability to manage organizational and maintenance processes independently
- understanding of beer and other beverages including the brewing process, cellaring and packaging process
- teamwork and leadership!
- must have valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- Operate canning machine on site at mobile canning jobs
- perform CIP/SIP, preventative maintenance and regular cleaning of the equipment
- Drive truck and load equipment in and out of canning location (2-3 man crew on each canning job that split these duties)
- manage equipment, materials and supplies on our trucks and in our shop
- Discuss canning process with clients to ensure that we are meeting their expectations and our own
Full time salary starts at $45k plus bonus potential, (higher for someone with the right experience). Part time varies depending on experience level with canning and beer in general.
