  • Massachusetts Brewpubs!

    Hi everyone!
Some friends are planning a trip to Boston/Massachusetts area so i wonder
if anyone have some ideas on some nice brewpubs to visit, pretty much
all over the place since they will drive around, by the coast e.t.c.
    Thanks a lot,
    Cheers

    -Watch City in Waltham, MA
-Cambridge Brewing Co. near Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA
-Boston Beer Works across the street from Fenway Park in Boston
-Salem Beer Works in Salem, MA (same as Boston Beer Works)
-Portsmouth Brewing Company in Portsmouth, NH
-Buzzards Bay Brewing Company on the South Shore
-John Harvard's Brewery in Harvard Square, Cambridge
-The Publick House (AKA Anam Cara) on Beacon Street in Brookline (not a brewpub, but it's a fantastic beer bar)
-Mercury Brewing Company in Ipswich, MA

Can't think of any more right now. The Publick House might be a good place to start because the people there can tell you how to get to the brewpubs in the area. Plus, they make these amazing sandwiches. You know what, too, post your question on BeerAdvocate.com. Those psycho Alstrom Brothers will tell you where to go.

Happy trails to your friends. Boston folks are generally pretty nice and helpful when it comes to figuring out the subways and buses.
