  • NEW IDD ops manual

Many of us had had questions on the IDD Squire and we all know that the manual is (was) horrible here is the the PDF of the new file:

Wel, it's less of a disaster than the original, but I think we'll stick with the one I wrote for our brewery. Still very disorganized, too many "ads" for things like Oxine, sections not consecutive, etc.

And nothing for the "Fill By Weight" option, which I'm beginning to think was a pure waste of money.

        That's a separate manual:

          Thanks, Mike.

Can't IDD cut to the chase? I'm not installing the scale, and hopefully, IDD has calibrated it before shipping. I just need to know how to use it as configured!

The main thing that bothers me is that it apparently isn't possible to store several parameters for different keg sizes and beer densities (IDD has told me that it isn't possible with the indicator they use). Having to keep a physical chart of the various weights and re-enter the parameters for each size and beer isn't very effecient.

Anyhow, I'll have to sort through this new manual and try to parse out the relevant parts for our operation manual.
