Hi all,
assuming free chloride (Cl-) water, what would be the amount of chlorides provided by the malt in a 3:1 mash ratio ? has any of you measured that ?
I could not find a value in all books and papers I read ..I could find values for K+, Na+ and other anions ....but what about the cations ???
can malt provide sulfates to the mash?
what is the nature of the ash in malt? is that related to the mineral content of the malt?
Thanks a lot for any info
