  • Gaskets - help

So, I received a custom made fermenter and instead of the 6 inch American "standard' sanitary fitting for a hop port and the bottom outlet of the tank, I received, what appears to be, either an Imperial 6inch (Sch 5), DIN 150 or an ISO 6 5/8" inch fitting

Problem is they also shorted me a couple gaskets so I either have to have some gaskets custom made or find a manufacturer that has these size gaskets.

I tried the regulars - brewery gaskets.com, GW Kent, GVC, St. Pats.

Anyone have any idea where to get gaskets this size? Many sites have DIN gaskets but they stop at DIN 100. I would like to get EPDM and Teflon.

    Thx!

Try a hardware store or more specifically a plumbing warehouse. Plumbers use gasket sheets to cut their own size gaskets. Don't know about teflon vs EPDM, etc, but the guys behind the counter would know.

Try www.rubberfab.com domestically. They may be able to help you.

These guys can definitely help you: http://connectors.ch/EN/index.php but they're a little further away.

        Thx Liam,

I will try the Jersey folks first since they are pretty close.
