I am toying around with the idea of aging a French style high gravity ale like a Biére de Garde in a French Champagne Barrel that has been recently emptied.
I have an idea for a specialty themed beer that would fit nicely with this brewing /conditioning process.
Anyone out there ever try this? Tips? Suggestions?
