  • Poll: Hydrometer or Refractometer?

Doing some research for developing a new brewing tool. If you can spare a moment, what do you use in your brewery. Hydrometer or Refractometer?

    Thanks!

Both. refractometer for quick OG readings, and hydrometer for FG readings

      Both

Refractometer in the brew house, hydrometer in the cellar. The added benefit of the hydrometer in the cellar is tasting the samples!

        Third Option

Very accurate Anton Paar density meter for all measurements. Hydrometer for FG measurements as well.

        Cheers,

Yup, both. Refract for kettle, hydrometer for FVs.

          Prost!

I use both. Hot side with a refractometer. In the cellar, I use a hydrometer
