Hi All- I am in the process of assembling two Lauter Tuns, and I am thinking, (Perhaps incorrectly?) that Wedgewire could be the best option for the false bottoms.
I have searched out a couple of places, (wedgewire, hendricks) and have requested quotes, but I was wondering if there was a more direct source with pricing and the option to purchase directly.
The MLT's are 24" diameter round, fwiw.
If anyone has knowledge of a different, or superior material, I'm all ears! The vessel;s are at the welder right now, and we're very close to our first brew.
