  • Brewpub fermenters opinion

    Hi All,
First I just want to thank everyone for the wisdom passed out on the forum. I am a brewpub in planning that is getting ready to order equipment. I will have a seven barrel brewhouse. We plan on 6 or 7 beers on tap regularly and will serve from 7 barrel tanks in a cold room. I am slightly worried about having big enough equipment to meet demand. My question is; Would you buy 4 seven barrel fermenters or 2 sevens and 1 fifteen and why?
    Thanks.

You can always buy double size fermenters. It is not too much additional expense and you are ready to make more beer when you need it.

You will have one beer that outsells all the others by at least two to one. Might as well be able to double batch it.
