Electronic Temp Controllers

Our brewery is controlling the fermenter temperatures with a bunch of Ranco controllers zip tied to the tanks. The rats nest of cabling is getting out of hand plus we have to keep the controllers protected from water and other liquids. We'd like to go to something more centralized but don't know anything about programming PID controllers or building a suitable box for them. Is there something off the shelf out there? We've also checked out a few more complex systems with things like internet access, such as Brewer's Dashboard and TankNet but are hoping for a cheaper solution.
