Hello. We're a new brewery just getting off the ground. Until we get our taproom up and running we're selling kegs to local taprooms and restaurants. I'm looking for a good way to track sales and keep track of the whereabouts of our kegs. Would anyone have a good spreadsheet they've developed that they might be willing to share to help us get a good system in place? Thanks in advance for any help.

I just saw your post as I was looking for something else under sales. We purchased rolls of bar codes from Buy A Bar Code. Since these are an internal function, we weren't concerned with GS-1 bar codes. We've found Sortly to be the best app so far for scanning and maintaining. It's compatible with phones, pads, or desktop. I like it because my assistant uses an iPad in house, I use my phone when I scan them out to a customer. We know at any given time which keg has what beer in it and it's location so we can also use it for wholesale inventory management. I can look at it and know I've got 7 sixtels and two halves of a brand in our cooler. I also know how many kegs each of our customers has at any given time, how large our dirty pile is getting and how many clean are available when we need to rack.
