I've had the opportunity to brew repeatedly on two different systems in the last several months, both with dedicated whirlpools, a 13 bbl and a 20 bbl system.
One had the WP inlet situated so that the wort entered and spun clockwise. The other entered and rotated anti-clockwise.
Both whirlpools provided equally sound, intact trub cones and complete clarity of the wort.
