Hello Probrewer,
Looking to use plant steam to clean/sani barrels. Currently have a high pressure boiler with a PRV reducing to 18psi that then goes to brewhouse, HLT, etc. I would like to utilize this steam source to clean and sani wood barrels. My question is, has anyone used a culinary steam filter for this purpose? If so which type do you use, do you have a particular wand or did you make one yourself? I have a 25hp high pressure boiler that makes more steam than I can possibly use in my current application but I don't know how much is required to run a barrel wand? Any general pointers would be great. Thanks.
