  • Steeles masher design

I know there was a question posted a few years ago about a Steeles / Steels masher, but no-one ever came back with a design - just a photo of Nodding Head (in Philly) masher. I know the basic layout, and supposedly ideal rotation speed of the mixer, but that is all.

Has anyone got a set of drawings with dimensions for an effective Steeles masher they would be prepared to share with me? Target is 1.5 tonnes in no more than 30 minutes - normally somewhat less than this so mash in time for normal beers is also somewhat shorter.

    Thanks very much

Thanks very much. I had actually found this already, and suggested them to my friend / colleague as an alternative to getting one built by his brewhouse supplier, who have only ever made other mashing in devices. I know Musk and Briggs also make them, so have also suggested these to him. But thanks again.

      Cheers
