I am seeking information on stein beer. I have been making them at home for several years and I wish to work it into a production schedule at the brew pub. I have some of the basics Rauchenfels Brewery, Bosco's and home brewing info form the net, do you have any info or comments you wish to share?

Time to revive an old thread!

I've found some stainless steel mesh baskets on McMaster Carr's webesite, and there are plenty of places around here to source some scrap granite.

Anyone have words of caution before proceeding? (this project is still quite a ways out)

Heat the rocks slowly over a wood fire.
        Cheers & I'm out!
