Hi BA,
I have looked into a hop gun to infuse hundreds of LBS. of adjuncts with one of our sour beers, but until we find the cash for one of those I am wondering if anyone can offer up some success stories putting bags into brite tanks. We have released this sour just twice now and can only put 30 BBLS in a 60 BBL brite because of the sheer volume of adjuncts which creates displacement. The bigger problem is that we cannot draw off the bottom of the tank because the bags get stuck, inevitably. Does anyone have any tips to infuse the beer without the bags getting stuck in the bottom of the brite? Racking arms in the brite, stand pipes, etc? We have thought about using a 7 BBL grundy as well but think we will have the same issue as a brite tank. Any tips are appreciated.
Thank you,
Gavin
