  • 1/2 filled 15 bbl brite tank

My apologies if this is a stupid question, but when carbonating a 1/2 filled brite should a higher psi be used? Our tank temp. is 33f, the head pressure is at 10psi and we've been sending 14psi through the stone and it's still not carbonated. We started sending CO2 through on Sunday afternoon and the liquid is above the carbonating stone.

The problem is with assuming the 14psi to the stone it doing anything. Can you confirm co2 is flowing? You should hear it, but a flow meter makes life a little easier in this case too. I wouldn't be surprised if 14 psi into 10psi plus the stone resistance was stagnated.
What is your current dissolved co2 volumes at? 33F with 10psi headspace for several days to a couple weeks will carbonate it too.
