Hey dudes and dudettes,
Curious if anyone out there is harvesting yeast AFTER dry hopping and/or harvesting after dry hopping and crashing. We use a very non-flocculant yeast strain for one of our ipas and harvesting before dry hopping means waiting for an extra day or two post terminal gravity to get anything resembling slurry. My life and our yeast pitches would be much better off harvesting when a bigger percentage of cells have fallen to the bottom.
Anyone have any great procedures for harvesting yeast after dry hopping?
