I've got a brass bulkhead fitting on my Velo erosion filter stir paddle. It allows manual stirring of the filter aid while sealing the erosion section. Would love a suggestion to replace this with stainless. Don't think a typical ferrule compression fitting will work very well. Could be wrong. Any good ideas? Thanks in advance!

Seems to be fairly typical bulkhead compression fitting--but not standard size. Don't want to disassemble it until I have replacement. Yes, stainless/stainless is bad. But the ferrules could be made of brass. Or teflon. These paddles are standard on almost all Velo erosion filters. They come chrome plated, but after 22 years of service that is gone. I know there's someone else who's dealt with this. If nothing else, then I'll try teflon. If that doesn't hold up, then brass. All else fails, I'll get replacement from Scott.Phillip Kelm--Palau Brewing Company Manager--
