  • Testing Pressure relief valves

Just wondering about how we are testing pressure relief valves. I'm sure there are may ways to do so. Im interested in the the safest, and most accurate.

Most safe way is with a water pressure regulator and an accurate gauge. Increase the water pressure to pop and read the pressure. Once popped, SRV's usually stay open until maybe 10% below the set pressure before reseating. Good luck!
